The file sharing service includes more than just its features. This is especially true for the Keep2Share (K2S) pro file sharing service, which identifies all the required cells, but still lags behind its peers. For starters, there is no trusted website in this service. While we don’t allow poor web design to just cancel a service, it does affect our spider.
K2S Premium & Pro Features
While this may not seem like much, K2S offers three account backups. The free Keep2Share account offers the least amount of features, but the real difference between it and the two Premium is in terms of storage space and bandwidth.
You can use K2S from popular download accelerators such as JDownloader, Internet Download Manager, Download Accelerator Plus. In addition, the service allows you to resume interrupted downloads, so you should always use a download accelerator (as we mentioned above) that supports this feature. You can also download multiple files at once.
For security reasons, Keep2Share has a virus scanning system that scans and cleans the files it contains. Even if your files are transferred over an https connection, there is no encryption at the end and you will not be able to block the files with a password. Also keep in mind that although all downloads are public, you have the option to mark them as personal.
Keep2Share Interface and usage
Also note that if you can transfer more than one file at a time, the service will not load folders. If you drag a folder, the service uploads its contents to the root folder in your premium or free Keep2Share account. You will need to manually create and move the files in the folder under your premium account.
As mentioned above, all files you transfer to your account will be marked as public and will be shared by default. Once they are in your account, click on the file to open the download link for it. To change access to a file, select it from the file manager and click the Login button. You are allowed to mark the file as private, in which case it cannot be shared.
For Keep2Share Premium account-only users, there is a Premium option that restricts access to the file. If you do not select this option, general download files can be downloaded by anyone with a URL.
The service has basic file management skills – you can organize files by size, type, number of downloads, and more. You can search for a file using a specific name or keyword, but it does not support wildcards.
If you do not have a Premium account on the service, downloading shared files will work as an advertisement. In this case, you need to go to a download page that is supported by ads, most of their peers will also make money. However, K2S forces users to wait 30 seconds without showing the download button to download without an account.
Keep2Share Plans and prices
K2S has three levels. As with most services, the most important is a Free Account. The service does not mention how much space it will offer to users at this level, but does not allow you to upload files larger than 1 GB in size. The free account comes with 10GB of traffic and you can track usage from your account’s control panel.
The real limitation is when downloading these files. Free account holders increase the download speed to 50 kb / s. On top of that, they can’t upload files using the file manager, or use the service’s download features, such as downloading in parallel or continuing interrupted downloads.
To unlock these features, you need to subscribe to its two paid accounts: Keep2Share Premium and Keep2Share Pro.
If you subscribe for three months, the reward will be $ 16.95 per month or $ 13.98 per month, or $ 9.50 / month if you pay in advance per year. The premium account is provided with 50 GB of memory and allows you to download up to 20 GB of ads per day.
For more space and features, it costs $ 21.95 per month or $ 17.32 when paid for three months or $ 11.75 when paid for a year. In return, you will be given 60 GB of storage space per day and 50 GB of ad-free downloads. In addition, in addition to all the features of a Premium account, you can use virus scanner and anonymous file download services.
One of the biggest disappointments of K2S is the lack of these programs. There are no web browser plugins or any software for your desktop or smartphone. By extension, this service means that it lacks a function that it considers important for any personal file sharing service: file synchronization. There is no way to use the service to sync files between devices, a feature that many peers like pCloud and Mega also offer in their lowest level Free Accounts.
K2S also won’t win the popularity contest with a lack of encryption capabilities that can see far beyond its peers like Mega. K2S also has limited file previews, which are slightly better than MediaFire. Previews were also contradictory, as the service allows some video files to be viewed, while others offer only a download button. Also, it does not preview any files except videos.
Also, we’re not fans of free ad downloads, which comes with a mandatory time wait, which is something you don’t get a free account on other services or a free ZippyShare at all.
The final verdict
While Keep2Share offers very good storage space and large transfer capacity, it doesn’t have the other important features you need in a personal file sharing service. The lack of smartphone apps and another option for data synchronization is also a big disappointment.
All things considered, the service seems to be designed to share files with a lot of people, and it makes more sense in a situation like a school where a teacher can use it to hand out teaching materials and assignments to the whole class. ladi.
