PWCN welcomes new members. There are many opportunities to learn more about our local aquifer system and assist others in expanding their knowledge of our ancient groundwater supply.
Some current and potential projects:
- Developing our web site into the local source for water-related information.
- Continuing community dialog about water issues via informational letters to the editor and writing columns for local publications.
- Providing informed persons to speak on water issues to local, interested groups.
- Coordinating conservation efforts with local water departments.
- Seeking grants to assist in community conservation programs.
- Developing demonstration xeriscape areas throughout the community.
